Denise's September Newsletter

September 1, 2009

Hello, Readers

Labor Day always signals the end of summer, even if the weather doesn’t cooperate. To me, September feels as if it’s time to put away summer things and get down to serious business. I guess it’s a holdover from school days . . .

If September has that effect on you, too, in between all of your serious work, I hope you’ll take a few minutes each week to stop by my website, relax and read. Maybe the blog will fire you up or the article will lift you up. Either way, I’d love to hear from you.

Here’s to a terrific autumn!

BLOG
I have an opinion on just about everything that occurs in education, which is why my weekly blog is devoted to it. In August, our discussions included online classes for girls only, dance camps, social promotion, and college admission, among other things. Thanks for participating.

For September, I’ll continue to address a mélange of topics that I find fascinating. I can’t wait to hear what you think of these issues! Stop by each week and speak your mind.

BOOK REVIEWS
My lists of book reviews continue to grow. The latest list, entitled “From a Psychological Perspective,” covers books that have psychological aspects. You can peruse this list and all the others I’ve written just by clicking the appropriate links.

ARTICLES
This month, my Christian living article is entitled, “Childlike Faith”. If you’re a worrier (as I tend to be) perhaps this will encourage you to worry less and trust God more. After you read it, please leave me a comment on your thoughts.

NEWSLETTER
Thank you to all of you who signed up for a subscription to my newsletter. I sincerely appreciate your interest and support.
On the first of each month, this newsletter will continue to arrive by e-mail, updating you on things to come.

YOUR FEEDBACK
I always like to hear your suggestions, comments, questions, and anything else you want to say. So, write to me!
